2024 Porsche Cayenne flashed once more ahead of Shanghai Auto Show debut

American fans may have to stay up long before bed to see the facelifted Cayenne unveiled on Monday night, but here's a sneak peek.< /p>

The 2024 Porsche Cayenne will make its official debut at the Shanghai Motor Show early next week (Monday, April 17). Even though we're only a few days away from the reveal, Porsche saw fit to flash one last teaser.

The teaser reveals a small portion of the Porsche Cayenne's mid-cycle update, and none of it really comes as a surprise to us. The headlights we saw under the camouflage are much closer to those of the electric Taycan. It appears that the recently refreshed Macan has also lent its full-width lower fascia to the Cayenne. Overall, things shouldn't look extremely different, but it will bring Porsche's larger SUV up to date with the rest of the range.

The interior of the Cayenne will introduce a healthy dose of new technology. Gone are the analog gauges, replaced by a 12.6-inch curved display, again similar to the Taycan. There's also a 12.3-inch dashboard touchscreen that runs the Porsche Communication Management infotainment system, and an optional 10.3-inch passenger touchscreen (Mercedes....)

However, the appearance reveals only a part of all the tricks of the 2024 Porsche Cayenne. Performance increased at both ends of the trim spectrum, with the mid-range 2.9-liter twin-turbo V-6 gone and replaced by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8.
